The 2000-88Q Diagnostic Proficiency Assessment (course # 578 DPA) is required for qualification on all electronic engines. This requirement is satisfied by successfully completing a Cummins hands-on class with a Cummins accredited instructor.

After completion of the DPA, the technician needs only to complete the required multimedia Virtual College programs to qualify for other IS {Electronic Controlled} engines. The technician must submit his completed 3.5 floppy disc to the Cummins Bridgeway Training Center for the scores to be entered in Cummins National Database.
