This area of Cummins Power generation promotes and markets applications other than a standard standby system. These applications would include among others, distributed power applications, utility peaking units, interruptible and peak shaving systems and combined cycle applications (power generation with heat recovery).

Products used to fulfill these applications would include CPG diesels from 1 MW to 2.5 MW and natural gas units from .8 MW to 1.75 MW. Cummins provides additional products in natural gas up to 6 MW. Other products available include Rotary UPS systems, cogenerations packaging, emissions solutions and a complete line up of paralleling controls and switchgear.
