Shop Service Technician

Cummins Bridgeway, LLC has an immediate opening for a qualified RV/Fleet Shop Technician in Strasburg, OH.    

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for fleet maintenance, full RV repair, diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and/or overhauling trucks, buses, and all types of diesel engines. 

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.

Skills/Abilities and Experience:

• A technical background including diesel engines is preferred
• Knowledge and experience with Cummins engines
• Highly skilled in diagnosing, troubleshooting, testing, checking, repairing and rebuilding these engines within Cummins standard repair time
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers
• Self motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision
• Must be able to operate all shop machine tools and testing equipment
• State Heavy certification(s)
• Fleet experience a must
• RV experience a must 
• Previous experience in troubleshooting/repairing 12/24volt systems
• Previous experience and certifications for chassis repairs
• Complete set of tools.
• Must have knowledge of recreational vehicle components including appliances, refrigerators, air conditioning, furnaces and related components.
